Townsville Black Stars acknowledges both traditional owner groups of the Townsville area, Bindal peoples whose lands are south of the Ross River called Thul Gari Wadja and Wulgurukaba peoples whose lands are north of the Ross River called Gurrumbilbarra and we pay respect to their Elders both past and present, we also acknowledge all other Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples and their countries that make up this country now known as Australia.
